I'm in Montreal right now, thoroughly enjoying the Fantasia Film Festival (www.fantasiafestival.com).  ASSMONSTER was very well received.  I'm having an extremely good time here.  It's so strange to be respected by so many people.  At times I wonder if this is all a hallucination, heh heh.

The atmosphere here is really rejuvinating.  People here have a palpable love of movies. 

I've walked the streets of Montreal.  There's a lot of interesting architecture.  The birds here are very funny.  There was a cool seagull hanging out on a statue's head.  I forgot my camera - hopefully the bird likes to hang out on that statue - when I come back I must snap a picture.  Pigeons here seem to have been given a bit of respect because they don't fly away from me.  Even a sparrow came over to me.  Either the birds here are more cool, or I have somehow acquired powers of bird-friendship.

I really don't want to leave.  I love this place.  But tomorrow I have to head back.  There will be an article about this fest in the upcoming August issue of the Grimoire.
