IN-NO-CENCE!! IN-NO-CENCE!!!

Anyone here see the film Legend? HAHA It's a bizarre 80's fantasy film like Time Bandits or maybe Waxwork staring Tim Curry.

Re: IN-NO-CENCE!! IN-NO-CENCE!!!

Yes, I just nought the director's cut.  It's been available for quite a while - I just haven't invested in it.  It comes with two versions - the American version that has the strange music by Tangerine Dream, and it also has the version that the rest of the world saw, with mor etraditional scoring and slightly extended scenes here and there.  I wondered if this was due to Americans having a shroter attention span, and t turns out that my guess was correct.  Teh music for the American version was made by a "band" instead of an actual composer because the American audience seemed to favor more contemportary music, but Tangerine Dream created some really nice music, I thought (it wasn't a rock and roll experience, ha ha).  And the Brian Ferry song for some reason wasn't really perceived as "pop" by me, probably because I thought it fit nicely.  Anyway, tehre is a "making of" feature that is well worth the money - it's not the 10-minute thing that is the usual fare (no offense to Robert Rodriguez or Rob Zombie).  In a way, I don't like to see the wizard behind the curtain.  Now that I know how some things weer done, the knowledge took away some of the magic.  But the movie is still visually pleasing, and the demon delivers some excellent lines.  I now have an HD TV (but I play normal DVD's on it).  The picture is huge, and amazing, so I am re-visiting some movies and I can't help but drool.  (NEVER watch a movie in 60i - it kills the cinematic motion).

Re: IN-NO-CENCE!! IN-NO-CENCE!!!

I bought a VHS copy for $2 on impulse last week at a record store.  I'm glad there's a director's cut. I just KNEW there had to be a version with extended scenes that were cut to make the PG rating.

Which, among these non-metal expressions, is the most gay? (No metalhead should EVER say any of these under any circumstance - do not even read them aloud!)
